About Mwaiseni Maisonettes
Located in the heart of the Copperbelt, Mwaiseni Maisonettes offers serviced, self-catering apartments tailored for the discerning traveler. Our name, "Mwaiseni," is a warm Bemba welcome, reflecting our commitment to making every guest feel like family.
Whether you are visiting for a business contract or a family reunion, our maisonettes provide the privacy of a private residence with the standards of a boutique hotel.
We offer secure and private serviced self-catering accommodation in the Itawa neighbourhood of Ndola for short and long stays for all needs. We have solar power throughout day and night. Our accommodation includes bright and spacious two-bedroom apartments with a fully-equipped kitchen and a large lounge and dining area.
The apartments have well maintained gardens and outdoor areas as well as a common covered outdoor space for gatherings, picnics and barbecues.
All our apartments have two bedrooms. As a standard, we accommodate up to 4 adults per apartment. We can add one standard single bed as a paid option.
We also rent out our apartments at a reduced price when only using one bedroom. Discount are available for continuous stays over 7 nights, up to about 50% discount for continuous stays of 30 nights or over. The rate includes all bed linen and towels, cleaning and maintenance services, utilities including all-day solar power, internet, subscription TV and 24-hour guards.

Mwaiseni Maisonettes are provided as serviced self-catering apartments.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartments. You will be liable for charges should you or your guests cause any damage due to your or their negligence, or smoking in the apartments.
Special weekly or monthly rates are only provided when staying for the full agreed period. No breakfast or any other meals are provided at these special rates. For all other situations, the standard nightly charge applies.
Standard Nightly Charge
Guests will be charged per night within the period of a regular arrival time from 15:00 before that night to a regular departure time of 11:00 after that night. Arrivals in early AM hours will incur the full cost of that night. Exceptions to regular arrival and departure times can be made upon agreement with management.
Extending Your Stay
If you would like to extend your stay then that will be dependent on the availability of a free apartment. You may have to change apartment. You will have to notify us as early as possible, but latest before 11:00 on the day you initially intended to check out. If your request to extend is agreed then you must pay for the extension before 11:00 of the day you initially intended to check out.
Payment
Mwaiseni Maisonettes can accept cash in Kwacha and US Dollars (our bank only accepts undamaged notes of USD 50 or USD 100, change provided in Kwacha) as well as online card payments and bank transfers. Guests must pay a down payment of 10% at least 14 days before arrival.
Full payment is due in advance, latest upon arrival. Any pre-agreed price or discount on the regular nightly rate will only be applied when payment is made in full in advance or upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Liability
Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to Mwaiseni Maisonettes caused by themselves, fellow travellers or any other person joining them at the property.
Mwaiseni Maisonettes is not responsible for your personal belongings and valuables, including money, passports, bank cards or any other items left in the rooms.
